I don't know if i'm just imagining this lol but i have a memory of watching a program on tv when i was young; it was similar to the style of The Clangers...the intro had a spinning world that looked like it was made out of clay and felt or something, and the characters were made out of wood...i think they were various animals...all i really remember is that their head movement were really jerky and fast!

It's doing my head in not being able to think of a name - can anyone help?
