Thin line and black screen on my TV

Thin line and black screen on my TV

Hi
I have a 29 inches Sony Trinitron TV, about 8 years old. It was working very good until last week when started to have green flashes from time to time and now the only thing can be seen is a picture reduced to a horizontal thin line at the center and the rest of the screen is all black. Is it something bad? or just something easy to be repair?
