Ok.....its not a cartoon...I just remember these animals like puppets or something and it was like a horse and a lamb and I think a cat and the ground was like a blanket and they had little children's voices and one episode they were making a stew...oh geesh I have issues!but I need to know what 80s kids show this was!

Maybe "Lamb Chop's Play-Along" (1992) Shari Lewis played not only the host, but Lamb Chop, Charlie Horse, and Hush Puppy, who were puppets. I don't remember any show in specific but they sang "this is the song that never ends. Yes it goes on and on my friends. Some people started singing it not knowing what it was, and they'll continue singing it forever just because...this is the song that never ends..." and on and so forth. Hope that helps.
