90's kid's show?!?

I don't remember very much about this movie... Possibly a tv show...but it was about a family that lived in this house that was haunted by a ghost... I'm trying to remember the name of a early - mid 90s kid's show. It was a computer generated show. It involved 5 planets (i think) that had engine and the people were like fire people, ice people, rock people and I think there were others. There was also a war involved.

In the late 80's I remember watching a show about a man who sang with a guitar in a "forest". There was some type of animal who he left shiny things for on every show. That's about all I remember.
