80s tv show title

Does any body remember the name of the tv show from the late 80s or early 90s where people were dressed as animals and rollerskated around during the show? their faces were painted like different animals and thats all i can remember!

Does anybody remember the name of the tv show from the late 80s I THINK IT WAS aired on sky channel about a guy that had a ring that transported him to another dimension and they had this lazer gun
