hey i was just wondering what are the chances of getting pregnat from just getting fingered i have never had sex and i have missed my period for the month of october and im just freaking out i mean i have missed it one time brfore a long time ago but i was just wondering and also i have been very stress lately and i heard that that will make you skip a period or make the irregular what are the chances that i can get preg form just getting fingered??

Hi Cutie08 - first thing is to calm down! ... it is not possible to fall pregnant unless you have engaded in sex itself. You have said you have not so there is no way you can be.

You said you have skipped a period before? This could be for a number of reasons; a commoin factor is stress but your GP is the only one who can tell you for sure.

You also sound very young and not totally up with the facts on sex and the facts on contraception to prevent pregnancy. If you consult your GP or even contact a local clinic they will be able to issue you with leaflets and able to answer all of your questions concerning sex and contraception. There is no need to feel embarrassment as it is a perfectly natyral thing, buit it is very important you know the facts and you know how to be safe - there are alsorts of STI's out there and dangers which a lot of young people are not aware of.

I do not know your age - but am guessing you are still very young.

Remember not to rush into anything and please do not feel pressured into growing up too quickly. Enjoy your youth while you can!

Now I am going to agree with DJH above. You sound way too young to be having sex. If you do not understand how to get pregnant, you may want to ask your mother. Might be time for the "birds n the bees" talk.

Education will prevent pregnancy. It is very important that you know what is going on with your body now.

There is a chance that you can get pregnant just by being fingered. About three things would have to happen about the same time. He could be playing with himself just at the time that he has an orgasm and some of his gets on his finger and then he inserts his finger into you. Another way is that you could be touching his penis as he cums and get some on your fingers and then you touch your self. There is another way that would involve oral sex but the chances there are really slim. Any of these things sound like that it would be impossible but stranger things have happened. I have worked in a home for unwed mothers and I have heard some impossible ways that a girl got pregnant. Go to someone that can give you some advice and do a pregnancy test on you. If nothing else go to the City/County health office. They will help you with no questions asked.
