    Ungrateful teenage daughter
Hello, I have a 18 year old daughter this is very disrespectful and ungrateful. She thinks that when she ask for something either a drive, clothes etc that it should be granted. She has 3 younger brothers all in competitive hockey and she also played up until this year competeive ringette so driving is crazy. My husband and I work full time but I have the luxury to work from the home office so I think she believe that because I am home I should be able when she calls to jump to her request. She also works part time which I told her I can commit to driving and picking her up twice a week I also drive her to school every morning cause she doesn't want to get the school bus. I make her lunch, bed and pay her cell bill... really I can see myself that I have set this up this way. I am just not sure how to stop the cycle. She now whenever she doesn't get her own way sends me nasty textes and will say I never do anything for her she will swear and just be disrespectful. I am really at my breaking point with her a part of me wants to tell her then go see how it is in the real world and let me know how you make out but then the other part of me doesn't want that at all and just wants to work things out and for her to grow into a mature young adult. Any Advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, K

Hi, I'm jules and I am 16, I know it seems like I can't help but I may be able to relate. It seems like she ident easy to get along with so working it out with her won't be a cake walk. I can't but I can't believe you make her bed for her! I make my bed every morning even before school and ide be darned if my parents did it for me, I would be humiliated! If I were you I would start with stop cussing at me and make you own damn bed or I'm not paying your phone bill. Also I see where she wants a ride all the time can be hard、I would suggest telling her if you want all this driving around, save for a car and liability insurance. Being an 18 yr old on the bus is a ride of shame, we allways look @ those kids as bums. And if she has a car there is one more thing you can take away when she's disrespectful;). And you can say, you've got a car, drive yourself, if your bad, the car is mine the bus is yours. It would make me think twice, like my phone, before I got it I depended in everyone else's phone, once I got one I loved it and enjoyed the freedom, but if I disobeyed And got it taken away it was horrible! I can only imagine how much worse it would be to have a car taken away. Hope I helped.
