Is She A Lier Or Is He A Player?
right... this is probably going to sound rather silly and pathetic but hey, i need help!

My best mate introduced me to a guy on msn... hes known him for a while and said he was a decent guy and he thought we'd get on well so we started talkin.... we've been talking for a few months now and i think i'm starting to fall for him... he's always the first person i look for online, he makes me smile so much whenever i speak to him and i miss him loads, however i've never met him because he went to spain for a year. he has told me he feels the same about me and that when he comes back he wants us to be together because he can't stop thinking about me etc. all sounds great don't it?? well it is until my worst enemy appears... unfortunately my best mate introduced this guy to her first... since she found out i liked him she's been flirting with him like mad on msn and has been telling me that he's said he loves her and is using me, he's admitted tellin her she's hot and that he did like her but he said this was before he met me. He's also been telling my best mate that he really likes me and has said really sweet stuff about me and he's gone off her but i just don't know who to believe or what to do. i don't know whether she's just tryin to wind me up again or whether he is being 2 faced and a player...i havn't spoken to either of them since this was brought up but thats only because she blocked me and he hasn't been online anybody have any ideas of what to do?? i really like this guy and he seemed to like me but i just don't know.... please help?

Try and find out if he has talked to 'the other girl' since he went off to Spain.
He could either like you and be stringing her along
but if he told you he went to Spain and is still talking to her then I would guess the Spain thing was a convenient story to make you THINK he isn't available for a valid reason.

he has spoken to her on msn but only once... but he's also spoken to me many times. she says he's blocked her as he nevers never online to her when i'm talking to him but i don't know

Well if he is still talking to you from Spain and blocking her and only talked to her once then it sounds like she could be just pulling jealous games on you.

Her friend could be just trying to make her mad at him.
Or he could have thought he liked the other girl since he didn't really know either one very well at the time. Then decided he likes her better

Well, dont go head over heels till he is right in front of you.. Makes it alot easier to tell if someone is lying. Girls love making other girls jelious... So, becareful.

thanks all of you... thats really helped... and 'KissMe10der' i know what your saying about not until he's right infront of you and it is something im trying to stay aware of... and 'hjpan' how can he be a guy who just wants some?? he isnt getting any!! and hes got to wait a year... if anyone else has any advice or help please leave a comment... ill keep you posted with what happens... thanks again
