Is This Love.

hello =]

well, about 3 weeks ago, i found out a girl who i asked out in 1st year (3 years ago) liked me,

she asked me out and i said yes

it has been nearly 2 weeks into our relationship and... i cant get her off my mind...
Every time i see or think about her, i get butterflies in my stomach, even when i see a picture of her, i get that same feeling

Yesterday, i got the guts to tell her to her face infront of all my friends that i loved her, and when she said it back.. it made me smile

Now, if your thinking, ''thats no big deal'' It is for me. I have NEVER smiled without someone asking me to or when i laugh, sense my grand dad pasted away and that was nearly a year ago, sense he pasted on, i have been depressed all the time, thinking about all the fun times i had with him, and all the war stories he used to tell me, and that was the only thing keeping me going, but when i did want to cheer up a little bit by thinking of him, it just made me brake into tears because i miss him

We both trust each other very well, and we both know that sex is a long way from us.

what i really am asking is: all these happy feelings when im with her, and stuff... is it love??

I have been with quite alot of girls, but NONE of them have made me feel the way she does....

Sure. you have been with quite a few girls and she seems more special than any of them were so it could very well be a good relationship worth pursuing

Hey I'm 14. Anyways I think she sounds nice, but are you sure you really LOVE her? I have said that to a few guys, but later found out I didn't REALLY mean it. Maybe it was quick love, but if it is true love-That rocks. I feel bad about ur grandpa. Sorry that happened. My papa died too. It's been a while since though. Well I hope it all works out. Stay true to yourself.

Maybe its love maybe its lust, you have only been 'dating' this girl for a few weeks, maybe you should just keep the relationship going, tell her how you feel, and i dont mean say i love you i mean actually tell her explain the way she makes you feel when you are together. You could love her im not saying you dont just dont be too quick to fall head over heels, thats how hearts get broken. Get to know her a little more.

To me, there are many types of love. There is friend love, self love, real love... etc. And there are different levels to all of them. Keep in mind, Love is just a word.... A word that the true meaning is only defined by each individual. No one can KNOW what your feeling/definition of the word. The word LOVE is a symbol/Mark to give all those wonderful feelings a name. But its different for everyone. So, yes.. it could be love.. it could be lust... Its all up to you and her.
