im thinking about emancipation.

My mom and step dad are constantly wanting to move, they're never satisfied. I'm 16 and a junior in high school. This is my third high school experience, so far. I just moved to this school about 2 months ago & they're already talking about moving..NEXT WEEK. I'm doing so good at this school, i am on honor roll for the first time since middle school. I actually really like it here. I only have one more year left before I graduate, and I just want to stay at this school for that. I'm so tired of moving and switching schools and leaving all my friends behind. I also have an amazing boyfriend at this school, it would kill me to leave him. It's so hard on a kid, especially a teenager, to move so many times. I don't know what to do. I was thinking about emancipation but I dont have a job right now. I could get one though if I had to. I dont know, I just need some good advice, quick. Plleaseee & thank you :]

You cannot get emancipated just because you want to, you need to prove that your parents are unfit and that you can make it on your own. I was emancipated at 15, trust me you don't want to do it. It's NOT easy, and is not an answer for being frustrated with your parents.

Have you discussed this with them? Are they in the armed forces? Are they having a difficult time finding jobs? What's the reason for the moves?
