Im 14- i need help w/ a boy I like

I'm a 14 year old girl. Now that school's out I'm bummed out..
In one of my classes there was a boy I didn't notice until a couple of weeks ago when he sat near me and we chatted. I think he's very attractive, funny and friendly(: I don't know him too much but he's in my grade(also 14) and I can't get him out of my head!
I've had thoughts about waiting till school starts and maybe trying to be friends first and maybe then he will like me back.. When I talk to him I get nauseous :P

Please give me some tips and help! Thanks in advance

If you want to continue posting on this site stick to facts. You can't just say "My mommy lets me, so go ahead". That's not how real life works.

What I meant about my parents was that I was taught that there's nothing wrong with early dating because kids experiment! That's why I see it that way.

Sharni, you should try talking to you mom and ask her how she feels about dating! Maybe this will be your answer!

The last part of this post is the right answer. Now you're learning.

The OP should talk to her parents about this. But, if mom and dad say it's okay she still can't date the boy until his parents also agree.

I wasn't giving illegal advice! Dating a 20 year old is illegal when you're 14 but we didn't talk about that..

In the end, everyone does what they feel is right. I think that if you don't already know, ask your parents if they allow dating.Then you know what to do (if to date or not)

To me, some age may be younger than another, but a 5 year old thinks he's quite mature doesn't he? Everyone thinks they know best. I think everyone should have their own experience but that's what **I feel** meaning I feel it and I don't mean everyonr should be thinkin this. You're getting me all wrong!

I had to respond to this. Just because your parents are too liberal and permissive doesn't make it right. In fact, I would argue that your parents need to wake up to the real world and put some limits on their children before it is too late.
