Have you EVER talked to anyone on the phone/videochat/etc.?!?
You will notice that your friends on the phone and in real life sound different.
That is because sounds converted into electrical signals, then back into sound, are MISREPRESENTED.
You would have known growing up if anything was wrong with your voice. If you have suffered no throat/neck injuries that would have harmed your voice pipes, then I see no reason why you should need surgery.
Just give it more time, it will come with age.
Not everyone's voice deepens to a baratone level, your voice is already probably deeper than it used to be, and you are just being over-self-concious about this.
Don't worry about it so much.

HelpinHere disagrees : UrbanLegend Doesn't really work, makes your voice rougher, not deeper, and it's just a stupid idea.

You are 12 years old. It would be illegal for you to even buy cigarettes.

As for insinuating to even start smoking- that is a no-no! Smoking leads to cancer. I don't think the PO would want cancer in return for a deeper voice.

You could be stressing your voice box subconciously, thus changing the vioce you speak with.

One thing i've noticed is that my vioce is quite high too, but it's gotten a little deeper over the last little while. I"m not sure about this, but i started forcing myself to sing really hard music. LIke Pantera, six feet under, and metalica. Any thing with that grungy rough voice aspect to it. If you can sing deeper, you may train your voice to be deeper. Also, I would sing as loud and long as i could, for hours at a time, by myself of course. My throught would become raw and then for the next few days as it healed, very important to let it heal, I noticed it was deeper. I also noticed it wouldn't go back to the high as much, as I "THINK" I was training my body, and mind to be more versatile. I still can use a high pitched voice, but i can also sound a little rougher.

Other than that, maybe being more aware of your tone, and how to change it, till you find that it just comes natural. I"m sure there is a scientific explanation but, I do not know it.

Good luck bro.

P.S. These are just suggestions, they may not work at all. If it hurts stop.
