I am so completely in LOVE with my best guy friend it isn't even funny! i asked him last year if he liked me and he said no. I know it will never work out! but somehow I am still in love with him! and he treats me differently than other girls and he always makes me laugh and tickles me and today we were messing around and he was like trying to suffocate himself (in a joking way!) and so I grabbed his hands to make him stop and we just sat there for like a minute holding hands.....and we did that about 4 times! AND he didn't object!!!! I am so confused!!!! He said he doesn't like me like that! but.......how he acts......i just don't understand! please if anyone could tell me how to tell if he likes me or not......this is seriously a last resort but i don't have anyone to talk to! please just anyone who can help! GUYS ESPECIALLY! maybe you can tell me what's going on inside of his head....

and if any of you need more info, i can tell you. Just ask. please and thank you for anyone who helps!!!

hm...i was sort of in a reverse situation. me and my guy friend were really close and he wanted to be more than friends. and even when i did like him i kept saying i didnt bcuz i was scared if we dated things wouldnt work out and our friendship would never be the same. he ept asking and i finaly decided to take a risk and date him. like i'd worried about, we broke up after less than a month and now we hardly even talk (well, i tried talking but he usually ignores me so w/e...) so maybe he doesnt wanna risk ruining the friendship?

thats good that you feel that way. but does he? even if you're sure you guys could still be friends afterwards he might not be. and this is only if he does in fact even want to bemore than friends, right?

idk. i know that i wouldn't want to stop being friends with him if it didn't work out......i mean unless it was something really big and unfrogivable....but i, being a friend, would surely try and stop him from doing such things.....and he even told me once that if he saw me as more than a friend he would go out with me.....but he didnt......it just confuses me the way he acts.....this is why i ask these questions! i think in his heart he does but his brain wont let him....just like me.....if i want to tell someone i like them my heart says yes and my brain says no......but he's had girlfreinds before! he knows how its supposed to work....well....sorta anyway. but he also said that he never asked them out....idk! i just really dont know......i need someone who is really experienced in these things to help.....not that you arent helping......but i've already ran through this scenario many times.....and.....i just wish i oculd see and feel what his heart wants....

Given the situation, it's not likely that he'll flat-out admit to anything even if you ask him directly. Take what he says with a grain of salt and remember that actions speak louder than words.

Once i told a guy friend i liked him & then he wouldent talk 2 me cuzz he said its 2 ockward . so hun its really your call .
