    Guy trouble on aisle 7
Im 13 and I think I'm in love with this guy. His name is ryan and he is 14. I see him a lot, well actually only when I go over to his sisters house to hang out with her. Any ways, we used to be really good friends. I even thought he liked me for a while because he would always comment on how my boyfriend wasn't good enough for me. He also had a way of looking at me a look that he didn't show anyone else. It was really nice. But then, I think he suddenly hit puberty or something, he got all angry at me for nothing and suddenly stopped speaking to me. Thinking about it, a lot of my guy friends did that but they went back to normal after a while. I can't figure it out. Whatever it is, he needs to stop because I can't stop loving him. Hes my everything. Id walk through hell if it would make him happy or keep him safe. I think about him constantly. He has become the reason for waking up in the morning and walking through my life every day. What can I do or should I do. HELP ME PLEASE!?

He probably likes you too - still but isn't sure how to show it. Hormones can make us a bit crazy. I later found out that a guy who avoided me in school did so because every time he saw me he got an erection and was embarrassed. Can you two talk on the phone or over the internet? Tell him you consider him a friend and like to talk to him.

Hey I went over to his house this weekend to hang out with girl ryan and marianne. Yesterday we went to the mall and hung out. I never knew how scary Hot Topic was. Anyway, he introduced me to his friend Parker(really cute) as his almost sister. He said it in an almost regretful tone I think. It almost scared me. Then we went to a sandwich place with kim and girl ryan and talked a lot. I had fun. We still aren't back to normal as friends but its getting better. I still don't think he likes me the same as I do. What should I do? I can't figure it out yet. HELP?!

I know it may seem like forever, but give him a couple of years to mature.

What you have here is a crush, and I'm sure you'll do anything for him that's called being a good friend, and as for him being angry well that would be the wonderful world of growing old. Good luck

You should try to talk gentally to him and if it doen't work then maybe you should tell his sister to talk to him or maybe you should even write him a letter to tell him how you felt about his love and then how he changed and how you want the old person back, he will soon understand.

I agree with simoneaugie-do give him a couple years to mature

Also, are you sure you know what "love" means, I'm srry if I'm coming of rude or mean, its just that I though I was in love once upon a time, and it was the worst time of my life and I would hate to see someone else go through all the pain, hate, and anger that I went through.

"love" is a strong word, just take some time and really thing about what "love" means

    To me, love means:
Thinking about someone all the time
Waking up in the morning for them
Praying for them more than you pray for yourself
Being OK with being with them forever
Having plans to have kids with them
Learning to forgive but not forget their mistakes
Being capable of working out any problems
Being able to say you hate them because you can't hate them truly unless you loved them first

I really don't think he will ever care about me again
Id be happy with him being a friend I think but I won't ever get over him
Id stake my life on that sentence

Just remember you are young and humans' natural state is one of love. It is great that you are so in touch with that feeling of love, but I encourage you to look at what it is about him you love and see if you can love those same qualities in yourself. Then you are truly able to love the way we were intended to.

Hey everyone, thanks so much for answering my questions and giving me advice. I think it may have helped me sort out my emotions and feelings about Ryan. I have decided that I really do love him, just maybe not in the dating sort of way. I think I love him as a friend, a confidant, and someone to just talk to and have them listen. I think maybe I confused 'LOVE' with the idea of loving someone and having them love me back. I think possibly I should wait and learn a bit more before deciding if I love anyone.
