okay, i have been discharging since i was about nine. i'm 13 now. still no period. A couple weeks ago i had a little blood spot on my undies. and then had orange discharge for just that day. I never got it again. Now, I have brown discharge. What is happening?
Sweetie, do you not have a close relationship with your mother? She should be the most important person you can go to with such personal questions.
I understand it is embarrassing, and you know what? That's okay. It is normal to be embarrassed, BUT, your mother would be so proud that you feel that you can go to her with your questions.
To help answer some of your questions I will say that brown discharge is normal for us women. It is possible that you are starting your period. The majority of us women usually start our periods, and end them, with brown discharge.
Again, I understand how hard it may be for you to talk to your Mom, especially if the two of you are not very close. I do want to say that it is very mature of you to be inquiring about your health, that does show maturity on your part.
Now, in the morning, or whenever you read this, the best way to approach your Mom is to just go up to her when no one else is around and say something along the lines of...... "Mom, I think I started." Just leave it at that, she will know what to do from there and it won't be quite as embarrassing for you.
J_9 is right here and I may have come off a bit harsh and uncaring. For that I apologize. But I was trying to get at why you wouldn't or couldn't go to your mother about this. I think that info is important in advising you who you should speak with.
yeah, I understand what you mean. I would go to my mom in the first place, but she doesn't really have time for me. I don't think she would care that much either. I know it will all come together, so I guess I have bigger and better things in my life to worry about.
