Got my Belly button Pierced Extras on cleaning

Okay so i just got my belly button pierced and im wondering if i should do anything else besides the salt water to keep it from getting infected.
'The piercer also sed that i could put polysporin on the barbell, is there anyting else that helped anyone?

well theres a particular spray that you can get from the body piercer shop and it has extracts of tea tree oil which helps the healing process alot faster and stops the redness in about 1 week of using it....ill get the name of this spray and will message it to you....!! mayb try swimming in the beach...that helps it alot too...!! because of the higher saturation of salt in the water!

when i got mine done i justed used the salt water wash and PLAIN dye free dial bar soap when i was in the shower just remember to keep it clean no swining or dirty hands on it !!

I used Saline Solution and sea salt mixture when I had mine done several several years ago, and it healed quick and without infection. The saline supposidly fools your body into thinking that the piercing belongs there (or specifically the ring) so that it does not attack it. It helps it to heal quicker. I would mix the two into a cup and while standing press the cup to my stomach pushing in a little to ensure that their was proper suction. Then I would carefully lay on my back with the cup still firmly in place for around 5 minutes...hope that helps.
