Maybe your not close enough to him yet, try talking to him face to face rather than on the phone.if you do that you will become less nervous ;)

Mark Twain said something once that is perfect (I'm sure you've heard it before, but here's a little reminder)...
"Dance like nobody's watching; love like you've never been hurt. Sing like nobody's listening; live like it's heaven on earth."
I agree with skyprincess... be yourself. No matter what happens, be yourself. Be true to you. And, have fun! This is exciting! :)

It doesn't matter how old she is; she is obviously pretty young given the fact it's her first BOYFRIEND: she has all the advice she needs - like the previous girl said, dance like nobody is watching, sing like nobody is listening... all she needs to do is to be herself =) oh, and also, not to be clingy :) let him have guy nights and what not... <3 and she will do JUST fine :) also, honesty and trust is key.

Im sorry but age does have a bearing here. Just look at what you are saying about guys nights out and stuff. If she is 10-12 having a boyfriend means different things then when you are 15-16. If you don't understand that, you have no business giving advice in this area.

Just because it her first boyfriend doesn't mean she is necessarily very young. Some women don't get boyfriends till they are 17/18. Scottgem is right, it does matter how old she is, the advise we give her differs dramaticaly depending on her age

Find something you both have in common (music, movies, TV shows, a class you both take) Then you can start a conversation with that. This will help you be a little less nervous. Good Luck and welcome to the Wacky world of dating.

I didn't forget, but since so few people put age in their profiles, I didn't bother to check.
To Kitten,
You have gotten good advice so far. Just remember that dating is about getting to know each other that's the most important thing. Its not about physical things.
