Dating stuff help! Well young people dating
This guy has like me all year... he even liked me when I had a boyfriend but he asked me out a couple times and I finally said yes. But now I kind of like his friend. But I've only been going out with this guy for 2 days so is it no problem breaking up with him for his friend? Or has he been waiting to long should I go out with him?

If you don't like him as a boyfriend, you make sure that is clear up front from day one

If you don't like him as a boyfriend, don't lead on him by letting him think the relationship has a future. 'Going out' with him is leading him on. If you have to 'break up' with him it has gone too far if you don't share his feelings.
I wouldn't make a play for his friend, either. Even after only a couple of days, it would be tacky and kind of cruel to dump him for his friend. The friend would hopefully have better sense than to date a girl his friend likes. It would a relationship killer all the way around.
I mean would you want a boy you are interested in dating you out of 'pity' or dumping you for your friend?

Well you need to talk to this guy. Tell him you don't like him, and that you can be friends (even if you don't want to be, it'll still make him feel better).
If you plan to go out with his friend make sure to not to tell him "im breaking up with you because im not ready for a relationship"
So just be straight up and clear. It may be adding insult to injury if you dump him then go out with his friend. You should try being friends with his friend first to see if you really like him, and after time you could go out with him, but people judge you if you jump in and out of relationships. Good luck! (:

OK, quick question, have you gone on dates? How young are you? Because this really makes a huge difference.

You don't keep going out with someone because they have been waiting too long, and how do you go from liking someone one day then liking his friend the next?
I'd say leave them both alone, next week there may be someone else.

Hi, hallie78!
Relationships at a young age are typically on again, off again. It's a time for exploring who and what you want to be.
If people aren't able to explore possibilities in relationships as well as how to become who and what they want to be as individuals, it can lead to the person being very unhappy as well as dissatisfied.
Thanks!

I am 24 and I’m dating a man who is 30. We met 5 months ago through mutual friends. At the time we were both casually dating a couple of other people. We started slowly, seeing each other about every 2 weeks. After 2 months, he asked if I’d be willing to only see him. At first we’d just see...

I have met this lovely guy online. (rare that nice guys are found online). He is funny, employed, in uniform, not a sex maniac and we can talk about a lot of different things. We talk on the phone as well as online. He rings me at work occasionally. I have to be strong... I am not going to call...
