Why would you want to date someone that's soon going to be four years younger than you anyways?

As long as your relationship isn't sexual I'm pretty sure you'll be fine.

And if you do have sex with a 14 year old I just might have to hunt you down and teach you a lesson.

This is dangerous territory also because you have to keep in mind --

If at any point you piss her off, she could easily say that you had an inappropriate relationship with her and get you into a lot of trouble. Think with the big head, not the other.

HUmmmm 18 dating 14 is not OK in my book. Now, if you were 25 and she was 21 then no problem. The difference is how much prison time you get for rape?

The difference in age is 2 years and 11 months (or there abouts).

While I have to wonder what attraction a 14 year old would have for a soon to be 18 year old, there is nothing illegal about dating. Especially if the parents are OK with it.

But it does mean you have to be EXTREMELY careful that it does not get physical. ANY sexual content beyond kissing and hand holding, can get you in trouble. Yes she is jail bait until she turns 16. Even then, you could still be in trouble because of the age difference.

But the fact that you asked the question leads me to believe that you are genuinely interested in this girl so as long as you both remain fully clothed and keep your hands away from "private parts", you will have done nothing illegal.

Well thank you all so mush you have added a much needed side to this. After talking to my parents and some of my friends and not wanting to believe them you have pushed me over the edge in a good way I do now relive that we have very little in common and I think she was mostly after the hole my boy friend is 18 thing and I'm sure that she was thinking mostly sex and I was too so I decided to end it since then I have found a new girl friend that is 16 and is a senior my self being an old junior I think that this is abut as close as I can get to my own age me and her have much more in common and spend much more time together already. Thanks again
