I would like to assume that you know what you would like to do as an IT professional. Do you? If you do, then you just answer what you would like to do and what you would like to happen in your pursuit in your career as an IT professional.

Start by looking at the various jobs in your organization. What is the next step in your current career path? A short term goal might be to get promoted to this position.
