About 4 years as noted, and a student teaching assignment in a public school. Of course not everyone can grad in 4 years, some may have to take 5 years.

Depends where you are. Here in Canada you can follow a one-and-one-half or two-year Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree following the completion of another bachelor's degree in any field.
