Will tax return spill the beans?

ok my boyfriend of four years and i have recently decided to tie the knot,only that my parents wont know about it for a while (immigration reasons), if my dad clamis me as a dependant when he does his taxes will it show in any way that i tied the knot or will i have time to work out some issues? PLEASE HELP!?:confused:

You live with your parents and you plan on getting married without telling your parents?

Why not just wait until you can move out of the house to get married?
It makes no sense to get married and still live with your parents and keep your marriage a secret. Is it for him to gain citizenship? I would question if you should marry him if it is.

You CAN be married and still have your parents claim you as a dependent IF they provided more than half of your total support and IF your 2009 income did NOT exceed $3,650.

Otherwise, you will need to confess your marital status to your parents come filing time next year.
