Tax Filing for L1

I am in L1 ,Married ,Living in Austin Tx.
I was in Newjersey,US from March 2006- May2006 and then now in
Austin,Tx.from Nov20,2006 - till date.
But for the last financial year(Jan - Dec 2006),i was in US for less than
6 months.
I understand the federal taxes will be refunded .Can you explain this point
as i need more info here.I have paid close to 25k as fedral tax.

Hi David,
I am part of US payroll and NOT my country's payroll and i have spent just 132 days in the last taxable year in US

As I noted on the email, you failed to meet the THIRD requirement to have your income from U.S. taxes, in that the pay originated from a U.S.-based office of your employer.

Sorry, but your income IS subject to U.S. income taxes.
