single mother without income filing

I am a single mother who moved to California alittle over a year ago.Can i file if i dont have an income in the state of California?If yes,what forms do I need to fill out?

MukatA Tax Expert Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: CA Posts: 2,146	If you had no income, then there is no benefit of doing the tax return. You won't get Earned Income Credit and child tax credit is not refundable.
