    Garnished taxes
    I filed my taxes this year (2009) and I was told I wasn't going to receive any money back, but I don't know why?:confused: Is there a way I could find out?:(

    Who told you that you were not goig to receive,

    Who do you owe money to ?
    Who has a judgement against you, I would assume you know who it should be

    The place where I went to go file my taxes at told me that there was a hold on my taxes, but I didn't know why? I do owe child support so that could be a factor, but I thought they could on take half and not all of my taxes.:confused:

    Oh, no, they can and WILL take ALL of your tax refund (both federal and state) for back child support.
