OPT student tax treaty eligibility

I came to US in 2003 and was on OPT from Dec 2005- 31Dec 2006. I am an indian citizen. Do I qulaify for the tax treaty exemption? Was I a non resident alien for the year 2006? My H-1 only started from jan 15 2007. Which form should I file 1040NR?

Thanks for any help on this topic.

Your treaty tax exemption is the $5,150 standard deduction. You ARE a non-resident alien for 2006.

File Form 1040NR or 1040NR-EZ.
