OPT and NYC tax
I am currently working under OPT status with my F-1 visa currently. I finished studying in MA and rented my place in NY on July 15th 2006. Should I file NYC taxes as resident or non-resident?

If you plan to stay in New York after the OPT, file as a part-year resident.
If not, file as a non-resident.
