OPT from May 2006 to Jan 2006

What type of Tax Form should I file?

I am in the US under foreign student status, I filed 8843 for prior years.

This year I had income and worked under my work authorization (OPT). What type of form should I fill this year?

If you never converted to H-1 or H-1B in 2006, you need to file Form 1040NR or Form 1040NR-EZ.

You should also complete Form 8843 and attach it to your tax return.
