Non Residential Real Estate Taxes in New York City
I am currently a resident of New York City.
I am thinking of moving outside of New York and renting my apartment.

My understanding is that the laws changed in recent years and there is an extra tax for outside residents.

On a similar note: Does the state of New York or NYC levy a tax on the sale of a property in NYC if the owner lives outside the city or state?
(ie New Jersey levies a 2% tax on realestate for non residents of the state>
