non resident taxes info

i currently live in texas and work for a company that does a lot of work in states that take state taxes out of my check ... how do i go about getting some or all of that money back at tax time please help me

If taxes from more than one state are being taken out of your paycheck you likely worked in those states and likely have a filing obligation in those states. When you file you tax return in those states you may get a refund or may owe additional tax.

If you are part year resident of a state and work there, you must report that income to the state.

And even if you are a nonresident of the state and you work there you must report that income to the state.
