IRA Withdrawals. amount to be reported for NJ taxes

The amount that is taxable in NJ differs from the amount for Federal return. The NJ Tax booklet acknowledges this fact but gives no further details.

I need some help here.

For example, I believe 401(K) contributions were excluded for Federal taxation purposes in the year I contributed but they were NOT excluded for NJ taxes that year.

What are the other differences?

Thanks for helping me.
