how to file?

Not sure how to file this 2006. My husband and I are married 2 years, and there is a big difference in our incomes. ( He is also a recent resident) We would at least like to break even or get something back. We do not own a house or have children. We "do have" a car, but it is paid off, & still pay insurance. Not sure how that affects us, or how we'd file. I do have a little business on the side, but its not making much for us. Can you help so that we can avoid future problems... or are we doomed to pay... ?

Alex:

I CANNOT answer your questions with a LOT more information. I need to know how much he makes, how much you make, and which state you live in for starters.

What is the nature of your business?

If you want to send me this data in private, email to [email address].
