FEIN in case of a change in management
Hi,
A company was sold from A to B. Is it necessary for B to get a new FEIN?
Thanks

Yes, if the company is a sole proprietorship or partnership, because the EIN is keyed to the name(s) of the sole proprietor or partner(s).
No, if the company is a corporation. A corporation is a legal entity in and of itself.
