1040NR or 1040

My friend stayed here in US around 60 days in 2007 and he e-filed the tax by 1040. Is he filed wrong form? He got the refund also. What should he do now? He was on L1 Visa and
He was on project assignment for 2 months from one of the indian software company.

Thanks and Regards

You must file 1040X (amended tax return) with properly done Form 1040NR or 1040NR-EZ.

Hi.

Thanks for reply..

What is the last date I can file that one?
Also if the refund I got is more than that I will get from 1040NR/NR-EZ then do I need to send a Cheque to Tax department?

Do I need to file 1040NR or 1040 NR-EZ?

Thanks
