    Move School Move Country
    Hey,

In early 2007 I decided I wanted to study over seas. My dad thought it was a good idea so we went to the meetings and I got prepared. In the last 6 months preparing my dad told me I can't go. Its not the money and he said it was because I was been rude or something. Now I want to move over seas for good. I'm looking at getting emancipated but that might take a while as I am only 15. I am getting bad grades and hating school. I need a reason for my parents to want to send me overseas. Because I hate school so much no matter how hard I try at school I still fail. I need some help :o

You have not explained your reasonable purposes in going abroad. Your Dad's purpose was to improve you as a person but you have not change being rude. You need to get rid of your bad habits for your Dad to approve your studying abroad.

Studying abroad is an investment, and very costly. Not only about money, but if you are not going to pay out of your pocket, you need to convince your sponsor, which in this case is your dad, that you will be able to achieve the goal. If you are doing bad grades at home, plus negative attitudes towards your family, I don't think he would agree.

To be able to enroll in school overseas, you must have very good grade (3.8+) and high scores in TOEFL or IELTS. Do something to prove to him that his $$ won't be a waste if he decided to send you overseas.
