hi!
I would like to know what is GPA & how ll I calculate it. I am a final yr Btech student in India.

A GPA means Grade Point Average. It is calculated by your alpha grades such as A, B, C for each course taken and so on.

well i think tha tdifferent universities have different criteria.

since u r an indian and dont have a grading system,that link wont work properly for u.an easy way to convert percentage to gpa is divide your total percentage by 20.for example if u got 70% in 1st semester,then gpa for 1st sem is 3.5....total gpa is sum of gpa of all semesters divided by 8.most universities ask for gpa of 3.so u should have overall aggregate of 60% after your 8 semesters.
