ravmon is a trojan that can easily.
Start the system in safe mode (F8 on startup)
otherwise first end the process ravmon.exe
if you cant find it in the task manager, use the command prompt and execute:
tskill ravmon
then:
START > RUN > Regedit
Then remove the key: "yyyyyyyy"="<path to trojan>"
from HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Run

Write down that name, then remove that file and the same file in your %system% folder (Default is C:\Windows\System32\ ) and from the file's original path.

That should do it,
otherwise you may have other things on your computer that are causing issues.

1. open the system configuration again --msconfig in run tab
2. check the virus list that been jut down
3. you can know whether they are active or not by :
- select the service tab button
-check all the sevice list
-you can see the "ravmon" and the gang in the list
-go to 'ravmon' and check the status
-if the 'ravmon' still active they status will appear as 'active'
-you can stop all the virus here....
4. After you stop all the viruses...You must

-go to run tab and type 'regedit'
-you will be redirected to the page
-press Ctrl+F buttons (it's for searching function)
-the FIND box will appear and type the virus name
**(you can not put all the names once, you have to do it one by one)
the system will search the virus and will do a list for the result
the list will go like this
Name Type Data
ravmon
-right click on the ravmon and slect delete

** you must do it for all the listing..after you handle all the ravmon move to jeefo and the rest..

after you finish all the delete stuff, close the registery editor, open the run tab again and be in the regedit page again..perform the searching again on the virus

**we want to make sure all the virus been deleted.Ravmon is also known as ravmonlog

DON'T FORGET TO INSTALL ANY ANTIVIRUS PRODUCT, but i recommend you AVG 7.1 and the AVG anti spyware..good luck!!
