What is MIB is all about what are the function and uses of it and what is the link between MIB and SNMP ......

Can you give the context where you saw the term MIB.

SNMP is a protocol for managing networks.

Quick Explanation: A MIB is used by Management Systems, such as, HP Openview, HP Insight Manager, CiscoWorks, etc, to identify, the Make/Model/Details of a particular device.

The management system will use SNMP to query the MIB to extract this info.
