| These programes have resident shields...there are other free antivirus as ClamAV, a-squared Free,Comodo AV and etc.
BTW I use Kaspersky - it is not very expensive. |

| Ive been using BitDefender for 2 yrs now. I really like it.
Its my first all-in-one.
Before that I used Avast and Ad-Aware with Sygate Firewall.

| Symantec's Norton Anti-Virus, McAfee VirusScan, Quarterdeck ViruSweep, or Dr. Solomon's Anti-Virus. Those major developers can be relied upon to release timely periodic updates that deal with new viruses. |
