why is there an evil presence following me since i was just a child?

ever since i came back to my home in michigan from my aunts house in california i had an experience that will forever haunt me. it was two weeks after i just moved back to michigan my room was clean except the closet i had my cute little kittie named gus-gus i had a bunkbed and i was on the top bunk that night because when i slept on the bottom bunk it felt like something demonic evil presence feeling like scary terrifying like petrifying feeling so i thought sleeping on the top would make me feel better so when i went to bed everyone else in the house was fast asleep and i took my gusgus to bed with me but he kept freking out like screaming bloddy murder in cat and he jumped into the window clawing the window wanting out of the room then i saw this very tall figure walk out of my closet with a hooded ratted cloak just walking to the foot of my bed where my head was and i felt paralized and unable to move or make anykind of sound and movement so i prayed to god sending my cat as a guardian angel to help me be secure but nothing worked so i did everything prayed to my cat and god i did that for at least 15, 20, 30 minutes almost an hour and then things went calm. then my mom took my gusgus to her room cause he want feeling well then i had a nightmare of the clown it well it started to claw me in my dream and the next day i woke up to my grandmother and mother asked me what happened to my back and i said i don't know why they asked and they told me that my back was clawed up bad but not that bad three months later my back was clawed again as well as my neck and shoulders i pray every day and night to god praying i will be safe....if anyone has been through this or has or still in that position, please tell me so i can know what to do to take of the problem?
