| | | A Sign? Hi I'm Riley and i am 13 years old. I have been reading and learning about modern day Spiritualism (Astrology, Crystal Meditation, Psychics esc.). Part of what i beleive is that everbody has Spiritual Guides, or "Angels", that help steer you in the right direction in life and sometimes give symbolic signs in the world around you to make you see the right direction.
Well anyway, lately I have been having experiences with signs, actually a specific sign..
I keep just thinking occasionally "oh i wonder what time it is" and I keep seeing the time 11:11, usually PM but sometimes AM, I kept just marking it off as a coincidence until today: Because today i just casually downloaded a game, unaware of its file size, and how big does the file happen to be? No other number but 11.11 MB! This is really starting to freak me out, what could it mean? Help please.

| Okay i am sorry for what i said I was in a little bit of a bad mood. I do respect others beleifs and will make sure it does not happen again. Also thanks for the links, they have led me on a large search for answers that will likely change my life forever. But keep in mind that you DID kind of "rile me up" by instantly labeling the types of things that i practice as 'demonic' and I'm pretty sure you were insinuating that it is evil to do those things. Lets just agree to disagree Once again i Apologize to those who were offended by my earlier comment.
Case Closed. | |

| If you read my where do signs come from post. You might understand where I am coming from better......and if you reply I might understand better where you are coming from.......
I believe everything comes from one of two opposing forces. I hear people say they are Wiccan or they are Spiritualists but they do not believe in God...so where do they think these things come from?
Anyway, I have heard too many stories of people getting in too deep and bad spirits end up controlling them and so forth. I am into the paranormal stuff, totally hooked on listening to Coast to Coast and I love doing numerology profiles; but I don't want to end up on the wrong end of things. I have seen demon manifestions when my friends were 'casting out demons' and one time it totally took ALL my energy for almost an hour.

| Ah i think i know what you mean. I don't do things like Voodoo, Black Magic (i practice White magic) weegie boards esc. As they call confused, enraged, evil or the rare occasion of good spirits that are trapped between our 'realm' and the next.Anyway i doubt people want to read my ramblings and this thread has gone quite off topic (although I'm mostly to blame) :P | |

Oftentimes on this site, it is very helpful and necessary if people do try to come to understandings as exactly each person is meaning. With subjects like this, it isn't always a black and white matter of "ask question - receive correct answer." I for one, am glad to see this type of discussion happening on this thread. There have been too many times on certain threads on this site where individuals have simply stated what they thought without given any credence or merit to what another is saying.

| While I disagree strongly with the OP's way of addressing N0help, I can somewhat understand where he/she's coming from as a 13 year old kid. So many people are brought up in a family/society where Christian values/norms are presented as absolute, and when they find their own path that is different, they become very defensive when they even think that someone may be trying to convince them of something otherwise.
N0help, I know that your intentions were good, and you were stating what you believe to be dangerous and providing it as a warning- perhaps prefacing your statement with 'as I christian, I believe...' rather than saying 'this is dangerous, these are things to steer away from'. Just a thought- no offense intended at all, but from the perspective of someone who's only 13, it could be taken out of context easily.
And to the OP- try not to overreact to things like that. Sometimes, people are trying to steer you one way or another, or trying to sway you from your beliefs, or are being blatantly judgmental and condescending- but sometimes they are giving you what they believe to be good advice based upon their beliefs and are just being genuine. N0help's post was not intended to be offensive to you, at least from what I can tell. Jumping to conclusions about people and labeling them as 'religious nuts' is just as bad as 'religious nuts' jumping to conclusions about new-agers, atheists, and the like and labeling them as 'anti-christian'. I know that you're young and most likely just getting your feet wet in regard to sorting out your own beliefs- just be careful that you don't become like those you dislike by making assumptions about others. And calling other people's beliefs 'nonsense'- to you, it may be. And to them, your beliefs may seem like 'nonsense'. You can think whatever you like, believe what you like, and say what you like, so long as you do it tactfully and respectfully. Your young, and it takes practice and discipline and experience- just try to be careful with how you address people.
