who did this song: from the 80's, probably called "typical" or "that's typical"

some lyrics as I hear them:

windowsill, my elbow's numb
as I heard the door go and saw your car
as it glides onto the road
double wasted dumbness
sodding off and I can't hear you go
and that's typical

there you sit in the driving seat
and your teeth chew gum
though your lips don't move . . .

it's nearly 4, and I can't see your car anymore
so I close my eyes with my eyelids . . .

so ill-prepared to make a fuss
and that's typical of us.

You were right! It's called "Typical," and it's by Frazier Chorus.

I had so much trouble finding a copy of it...and it's pretty bad quality, too, unfortunately.

Good luck! Hope this helps.

I guess I am probably far too late to be of any help but the answer to the question is:-

Frazier Chorus and it is from the album Sue. Very hard to find on CD.

Their follow-up album, Ray, is equally brilliant, by the way.
