I'm looking for a song that I believe was in the 70's - it has the words...or something similar...

give me the bump, gotta have that bump

I've tried searching on google, etc and haven't had any luck. Your help would be appreciated.

I had thought of that one - I'm making a CD for my boss - and I played him a snippet of it, but he said it wasn't that one. Ugh. Thanks for the help.

I was looking for the same song, thinking they were saying "The Bump" and it was "The Funk". It was "Give up the Funk" by Parliment. Thanks CATURNER...you're a life saver!!
