Looking for Title of song

Played on the "Delilah" radio show, only know these few lyrics:
"Light one small candle .... a cup of Christmas Tea" - it is a christmas song. Am wondering if anyone knows the name and performer of this song?

Good afternoon.....
It could be a number of songs. I am familiar with her type of songs that she loves to play and here's a couple, hope it helps. I've included the lyrics so you will know if it is the correct song. I have to break up my answer and give you one song at a time because it will max out the amount of words I use. So below is the first one.

Christmas Tea

A week before Christmas,
I got a note from my old great Aunt.
It read: "Of course I'll understand
Completely if you can't,
But if you find you have some time
How wonderful it would be
If we could have a little chat
And share a cup of Christmas tea."

She'd had a mild stroke that year

Though house-bound now, my folks had said
It hadn't hurt her pride.
They said: She'd love to see you.
What a nice thing it would be,
For you to go and maybe have a cup of Christmas tea.

Boy! I didn't want to go.
Oh, what a bitter pill.
To see an old relation
And how far she'd gone downhill.

I drove in from the suburbs
To the older part of town.
The pastels of the newer homes
Gave way to gray and brown.
How I got up to her door
I really couldn't tell...
I watched my hand rise up
And press the button of the bell.

I waited, aided by my nervous rocking to and fro
And just as I was thinking I should turn around and go,
I heard the rattle of the china in the hutch against the wall
The triple beat of two feet and a crutch came down the hall.

She stood there pale and tiny,
Looking fragile as an egg.
I forced myself from staring
At the brace that held her leg.
And though her thick bifocals
Seemed to crack and spread her eyes,
Their milky and refracted depths
Lit up with young surprise.

"Come in! Come in!"
She laughed the words.
She took me by the hand
And all my fears dissolved away
As if by her command.
We went inside and then before
I knew how to react,
Before my eyes and ears and nose
Was Christmas past: alive, intact!

This next one I can't find the lyrics to but is played a lot during Christmas on her show. It's called, 'Light a Single Candle' it is sung by Anne Cochran. I know Jim Brickman co wrote the song with Delilah. However, I'm not sure when or where you can find the lyrics as I said to see if this is the song you are talking about.

I think if you go to Delilah's or Jim Brickman's websites you should be able to find the lyrics or information you are looking for. It's on the CD titled, 'Love Someone at Christmas'

Sorry I could not find the lyrics for you so I'm not sure if this could be the song or not but this should at least give you a place to start. I enjoy both songs very much as they are pretty and enjoyable to listen too. I'm a sucker for sappy music and her show is one after the other.

Good luck to you and Happy Holidays...

Finally found the lyrics, this was a tough one. I hope this is the song. I think it might be.

Light a Single Candle
Singer: Anne Cochran
Co-writer: Delilah

Come sit beside the fire,
Share a cup of Christmas tea,
We'll talk about the past
With all our family.
We'll gather with the children
And see how they've grown,
We'll talk of our loved ones
Who are gone.

So, light a single candle
And watch it burning bright.
We'll open up our gifts of love,
And share our hearts tonight.
Yes, light a single candle,
Hang a star upon the tree
We'll share the Christ child's birthday
With a cup of Christmas tea.

Time passes quickly
As we must about each day.
The years have flown by,
And time just slips away.
But the holidays are special,
As we gather round the tree,
And spend this time together
With a cup of Christmas tea.

So, light a single candle
And watch it burning bright.
We'll open up our gifts of love,
And share our hearts tonight.
Yes, light a single candle,
Hang a star upon the tree
We'll share the Christ child's birthday
With a cup of Christmas tea.

And all I want for Christmas
Is for all of us to be
Spreading love and joy and peace
for all the world
And all our family.

So, light a single candle
And watch it burning bright.
We'll open up our gifts of love,
And share our hearts tonight.
Yes, light a single candle,
Hang a star upon the tree
We'll share the Christ child's birthday
With a cup of Christmas tea.

So light a single candle
As a sign
Of peace and harmony
