Hello everyone,

I've been trying to find the name of a group that a good friend of mine used to love. He passed away in 2002 and I was thinking of him and the group and couldn't for the life of me remember what they were called. It was a few guys and he said that they were buddhist. We argued about it because more than one of their songs was, or could be interpreted, as spiritual and I, before I left Christianity, said that they had to be Christian. I know one song said something like:

"Everybody wanna live it in the New York City limit
In a New York City minute everybody wanna live it
In a New York City minute, thats how we dig it, thats how we dig it"

I'm probably way off, and thats why I can't find anything on google.
