    Statute of Limitations in Alabama
My cousin gave me 700 in 2000 to help with medical problems with my brother. She is saying now that it was a loan and wants it back. I never signed anything. How long is the statute of limitation in Alabama if she takes me to court on a personal loan.

Can she prove she ever gave you money? Was there a check cashed perhaps?

But look at it this way - do you really want to fight with a family member in a court over something so silly as $700?

If she does sue you it will come down to which of you is the more believable - the statute is 6 years on an oral agreement so she can't sue you. It's out of statute.
