small business

I sold small business in which buyer paid 1/2 down and was to make payments of $500.00 for 20 months.
Owner has closed business at same time 1st payment is due, not paid rent on building
(i do not own building), and refuses to return property.
She owes me $10,000.00. Small claims in Florida is only $5000.00, now Im being told to do a replevin. Does that make sense?
I have a very detailed contract that clearly states, after 60 days of non payment she must return everything, she cannnot sell any items out of the business, but she refuses any attempt I make to retrieve.
Any advice.

Your best bet at this point would be to hire a lawyer and let them handle it for you.
