Settling and accident claim with an adjuster

Last month my brother and I were traveling home on a busy street, the lane to the right of us was stopped due to a bus stopping to let off passengers, there is a school to the left of the street and a young girl was waiting to turn left out of the parking lot, meaning she had to cross over both lanes of traffic to do so. A lady in a minivan in the right lane waived her out of the parking lot just as I was passing and the girl shot out thinking she had a clear path. I hit her at 45 mph basically T-boned her car, her insurance company has been decent in handling this up to this point because she admitted fault. They have paid for my totaled vehichle and rental car expenses. Now here is the problem I am running into at this point, the insurance adjuster assigned to the claim told me that I am responsible for obtaining my own medical expenses and after doing so to contact her. I have done this and now she is no longer returning my phone calls. My main question is this, when using the calculator on this site for the value of my case, should I include the cost of the replacement of my vehichle and the rental car which they have already paid for? I dont see how this is right to do. And the next question is how much would it hurt my case to speak to her superior about getting this settled without hiring an attorney since she doesnt seem to be concerned with reacting to my attempts to contact her? Any help is appreciated.

First any "link" is not part of this site but merley an advertisment for another web site that offers advice or sells a product.

Normally on minor accidents, they pay for your car and rental and for your medical expenses, not alot of extra money

What about payment for my loss of work and my pain and suffering from my injuries, how do I go about figuring proper compensation? I have been told to take my medical bills and lost wages and multiply them by 3 is that accurate?

Hello M:

You should NOT be talking to them AT ALL. You should hire an attorney. I say this because hiring an attorney will put MORE money in your pocket than you doing it yourself.
