Security Deposit- ecrow account?

I have already won a small claims case against my ex-landlord. The new issue is getting him to pay. I live in Colorado I found something in the statute requiring my landlord to put the security deposit I gave him in an escrow account. I can't find any of the "penalties" that would occur if he did not put it in a set aside account. I am sure that if I send him the list of penalties along with my letter of demand for the return deposit he will fork it over. Can anybody help?
