Need to move into owned house
My wife own a house with her sister and her mom. We are going to foreclose on our house at the end of July and we are going to have to move into the house that her sister currently lives in. I was wonderiong if she can keep us from moving in and keep us away from the house? As it stands right now we are not allowed to go over there. The sheriff was telling us that the only way that we could move in is if we get her permission or if a judge rules that we can live there. Please let me know how to pursue this. Time is short.

If you own the home, how are you going to "foreclose" you foreclose if you are the mortgage holder and someone owes you on the home.

Does her sister and mom have a mortgage to you for buying part of the home ?

If the three of you all own the home, why are you not allowed there, as a owner, unless you are renting the home to someone, you are allowed to go into the home you own?

Please explain who owns what, who has a mortgage and more.

    If I get this correctly:

You and your wife own a home, which is about to be foreclosed on.

Your wife, her sister, and her mother own a home jointly, that (mother and?) sister are currently living in.

For some reason, you currently aren't allowed to go over to the sister's house. Restraining order? Bad blood? Not sure.

And now you want to move into the house with the sister?

If the sister has a restraining order against you or your wife, I don't see that happening. Your wife may have a legal right to move into the house, depending on how the deed is held, but I don't think that would extend to you.
